Commercial Growth & Delivery Manager

Location

Andy Stedman Design, Chichester, West Sussex

Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Growth & Delivery Manager to join our growing team in Chichester and help drive the next stage of growth across both the design and landscaping sides of the business.

This is a senior, hands-on role focused on improving commercial conversion, tightening operational oversight, and strengthening the link between sales, design, project management, and delivery.

We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, operationally strong, and confident taking ownership in a fast-moving, ambitious, design-led business.

Key Resonsibilities

You will take ownership of the commercial pipeline from enquiry through to handover, helping to improve conversion, communication, and overall delivery quality. The role will involve qualifying opportunities, supporting sales conversations, improving internal reporting, and helping the team stay focused on the right work at the right time.

You will also help strengthen the link between sales, design, project management, and build delivery, making sure projects move through the business with greater clarity and less friction. This will include improving handovers, supporting resource planning, identifying bottlenecks, and helping introduce better systems and processes as the business continues to grow.

Alongside this, you will contribute to wider business improvement. That may include refining CRM use, improving performance visibility, supporting AI-enabled workflows, and helping shape a more joined-up operating model across the company.

What We’re Looking For

The right person will have strong experience in a commercial, operational, or delivery-focused management role, ideally within a premium service business, design-and-build environment, construction, landscaping, property, or another project-led sector.

You should be confident managing people, conversations, and moving parts at the same time. You will need to be commercially aware, organised, decisive, and comfortable taking responsibility for both growth and delivery outcomes.

We’re particularly interested in someone who can bring structure without slowing things down, who communicates clearly, and who takes genuine pride in helping a business run better.

Desirable Experience

Experience in project-based businesses, high-end residential work, landscaping, garden design, construction, property, or interiors would be a real advantage.

Experience with CRM systems, reporting, process improvement, and AI or automation tools would also be beneficial, especially if you have used them to improve visibility, team performance, or commercial conversion.

What We Offer

This is an opportunity to join a growing, design-led business with a strong reputation for high-end work and an ambitious vision for the next stage of growth.

You’ll have the chance to play a meaningful role in how the business develops, working closely with the founder and senior team to improve commercial performance, delivery quality, and operational clarity.

Salary will be competitive and dependent on experience.

Location and Role Type

This role is based in Chichester and is expected to be primarily office-based, with involvement across the wider business as required.

This is a full-time role.

How to Apply

Please send your CV and a short covering letter to [email protected] outlining your operational experience and measurable impact in previous roles.
