We paid particular attention to the fencing and made a feature out of it by mimicking the detail used in defence groynes positioned along the UK coastline.
Along with a very hardy and sympathetic planting scheme, this gives the garden a real sense of place. At the front of the house we designed a more intimate and relaxed seating area, with a central firepit added for when the evening draws in and a large family-sized spa to relax in after a lively day on the beach.
A built-in designer outdoor shower is also on hand for rinsing off all that sand and sea. Parking is at a premium in this popular area, so we made sure to engineer plenty of driveway space for both clients and guests as well and linking the materials with the continual style and theme of the space.
