ROUSSILLON PARK

Town house

A three-story town house brings an entirely different set of perspectives to how a garden is designed. This garden needed to look it’s best from the ground, but also from the windows of the main living rooms above.

This was accomplished using a simple and structured layout, with the undisputed focal point being a stunning granite sculpture specially commissioned by the owners from Paul Vanstone. A central entertaining space is enveloped by elegant box-head hornbeam and two heights of clipped Ilex crenata hedging.

Ample seating with lighting system and a flexible outdoor kitchen bring the entire space to life day and night. We have hidden the access to the garage and screened the storage shed to neaten up the space, as well as creating a sense of privacy and seclusion. A soft mix of grasses, verbena and salvia provide seasonal interest and edge the large profile Italian porcelain tiled terrace.
